Missing or incomplete documents is the single most common reason admission gets delayed at the last minute. Here is what you should have ready โ organised and photocopied โ before you visit any college for admission.
Academic Documents
- 10th standard marksheet and passing certificate
- 12th / PUC marksheet and passing certificate
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from your last attended institution
- Migration Certificate (for students moving from another state board or university)
- Study certificates for Karnataka-domicile KCET applicants
Entrance Exam Documents
- KCET / COMEDK / NEET rank card and scorecard
- Admit card / hall ticket of the entrance exam
- Seat allotment letter (if allotted through KEA, COMEDK or MCC counselling)
Identity & Category Documents
- Aadhaar card (or passport, for NRI/foreign applicants)
- Passport-size photographs (usually 6โ8 copies)
- Caste/category certificate, if applying under a reservation category
- Income certificate, if applying for a fee concession or scholarship
For Management & NRI Quota
- All academic and identity documents above
- NRI sponsor documents โ passport, visa/work permit, and relationship proof (for NRI-sponsored seats)
- Demand draft or transfer receipt for the fee, made only in the official college account โ never to a personal or agent account
