Missing or incomplete documents is the single most common reason admission gets delayed at the last minute. Here is what you should have ready โ€” organised and photocopied โ€” before you visit any college for admission.

Academic Documents

  • 10th standard marksheet and passing certificate
  • 12th / PUC marksheet and passing certificate
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from your last attended institution
  • Migration Certificate (for students moving from another state board or university)
  • Study certificates for Karnataka-domicile KCET applicants

Entrance Exam Documents

  • KCET / COMEDK / NEET rank card and scorecard
  • Admit card / hall ticket of the entrance exam
  • Seat allotment letter (if allotted through KEA, COMEDK or MCC counselling)

Identity & Category Documents

  • Aadhaar card (or passport, for NRI/foreign applicants)
  • Passport-size photographs (usually 6โ€“8 copies)
  • Caste/category certificate, if applying under a reservation category
  • Income certificate, if applying for a fee concession or scholarship

For Management & NRI Quota

  • All academic and identity documents above
  • NRI sponsor documents โ€” passport, visa/work permit, and relationship proof (for NRI-sponsored seats)
  • Demand draft or transfer receipt for the fee, made only in the official college account โ€” never to a personal or agent account

We recommend carrying original documents plus two photocopies of each to your admission visit โ€” colleges verify originals and retain copies. If you are not sure which documents apply to your specific case, message us on WhatsApp with your admission route and we will send a checklist tailored to your college.
